The weather did not look great but the match went ahead and started on time at 10.00am. Having lost the toss, Ashtead were put into bat as expected with the uncertain weather forecast.

Given the conditions, the team did well to score 109 runs off their 20 overs. With some amazing wickets and some good decisions on the pitch, the team came through and beat Chertsey by six runs.
